The third edition of the Libya Clean Exhibition was launched on, Sunday, November 23, 2025.
The opening ceremony was attended by a number of officials, including the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Local Government for Municipal Affairs, Mr. Mustafa Al-Turki; the Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Local Administration at the Ministry, Mr. Nasr Al-Mahtout; the Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Water Resources, Mr. Abdul Salam Nasr Jad Al-Mawla; the Chairman of the General Authority for Exhibitions and Conferences, Mr. Issam Al-Awl; the Director of the General Administration for Environmental Sanitation Affairs at the Ministry of Local Government, Mr. Ibrahim Bin Dakhil; the Director of the Planning Institute, Dr. Mustafa Al-Arqat; members of the Tripoli Central Municipal Council; and the Deputy Director of the Tripoli International Fair. Also present were representatives from several municipal councils, public and private institutions, and relevant organizations.
In his address, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Local Government, Mr. Mustafa Al-Turki, emphasized the importance of this national event, noting the necessity of addressing environmental challenges through local and international innovations. This year’s exhibition is distinguished by the diversity of participating pavilions and the showcasing of new technologies in the fields of waste management, recycling, pest control, renewable energy, and environmental sanitation, providing effective solutions to the environmental challenges facing the country. The exhibition also includes workshops, panel discussions, and scientific seminars focusing on best environmental practices and the development of sustainable strategies. This event serves as an ideal platform for companies and innovators to network and exchange ideas, fostering collaboration to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals
